There are many interesting things happening at our church.
June
June was an especially busy month for the church family at the Hayward Adventist Church. We had our monthly Sabbath Walk, Bayside School Promotion Ceremony, church Work Bee, baptisms, baby dedications, honoring graduates, a Farewell Potluck for Pastor Tyler and wife Crystal Kraft (before their journey to New Zealand for their new ministry), and ending the month with our monthly Gym Night! BUSY!!
We ended June with our monthly Gym Night at the Fremont Adventist Church with a record breaking attendance!
Our All-church Potluck on June 20th, was a Farewell Potluck attended by many to wish the Krafts a teary God speed.
Pastor Tyler’s (teary) last sermon with us was on June 20th titled “The Greatest!”
On Pastor Tyler and wife Crystal’s last day with us (June 20), we honored their time with us.
Church leaders prayed for them as they begin their journey to New Zealand for a new ministry!
Celebrating Graduates on June 20th!
Pastor Kraft had the privilege of baptizing Briauna on June 20th…she was tearful and overjoyed,
and we were blessed to be witnesses to it!
We had two Baby Dedications on Pastor’s last day with us for families who want to raise their babies as Christians!
We held a church Work Bee in June to get the church ready for our summer kids’ program, Summer On The Run.
We were blessed by the baptism of one of our young ladies, who has been studying the Bible with one of our female leaders.
She also provided a violin solo during the offering collection. Praise the Lord!
Our Bayside Christian School held their Promotion ceremony for kids moving up!
Our monthly Sabbath Walk in June was a neighborhood walk to distribute the Summer on the Run day camp flyers to invite our neighborhood kids to our free, one-week day camp!

Our church family members were particularly busy in MAY with the conference Christian Men’s Retreat, a monthly Sabbath Walk, two All-church Potlucks, a Vespers Service, a sacred concert by the Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Musicians, a free Tech Clinic, Adventist Community Services recognition, Children’s Sabbath School Picnic, and our end of month Gym Night...busy, busy, busy!
The annual conference Christian Men’s retreat at the Leoni Meadows Conference Center was enjoyed by all!
Several church family members enjoyed a Sabbath Walk along the water’s edge.
We enjoyed a Mother’s Day Potluck with the men and adult children serving and cleaning up! We also celebrated all May birthdays with a round of Happy Birthday and cake, of course! (Flowers provided by the corsage makers in Women’s Ministry.)
The Sabbath Evening Vespers service included a tribute to Biblical mothers and as well as a tribute to some of our own mothers with youth leading the singing.
The Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy music team blessed us with a sacred song service during worship service.
We held an All-Church potluck after worship service in the academy musicians’ honor with lots of food and fellowship!
Several church family members attended our free Tech Clinic for cell phone and tablet basics. How do you …?
Our Adventist Community Services team gathered for a special recognition before beginning their weekly Sunday morning food giveaway to local community members in need. God bless this team!
Our children’s Sabbath School department held their Spring Picnic at a local park for the kids and their families!
Our monthly Gym Night at the Fremont Adventist Church Gym included games, food, and fun!
