There are many interesting things happening at our church.
August
August brought the return of our Annual Church Family Picnic at Kennedy Park in Hayward, California, for family and friends. Fun, food, and fellowship were enjoyed by all on a lovely California afternoon!
July
July was another busy month for the Hayward Adventist Church family members. We held our second Summer on the Run one-week day camp for kids, our monthly Sabbath Walk, our monthly All-church Potluck, a Summer Ladies Lunch, and another rousing Gym Night.
Gym Night with the Fremont Adventist Church members was enjoyed by all … food, games, and fellowship!
Women’s Ministries organized a hot pot lunch that was enjoyed by old and young at our Summer Ladies Lunch. It was agreed by all to not have a hot pot lunch next time on a hot summer day!
We celebrated July birthdays at our monthly All-church Potluck!
Our July Sabbath Walk was at the Hayward Shoreline where we enjoyed a sunny afternoon with bay breezes and beautiful view of the bay!
We started the month our with our week long Summer on the Run program – a free, mobile pop-up day camp designed especially for kids ages 7–13. Fun for staff and kids!
Our Summer on the Run volunteers prepared and served lunches for 80+ daily! And Pastor Eddie ran the whole thing!
June
June was an especially busy month for the church family at the Hayward Adventist Church. We had our monthly Sabbath Walk, Bayside School Promotion Ceremony, church Work Bee, baptisms, baby dedications, honoring graduates, a Farewell Potluck for Pastor Tyler and wife Crystal Kraft (before their journey to New Zealand for their new ministry), and ending the month with our monthly Gym Night! BUSY!!
We ended June with our monthly Gym Night at the Fremont Adventist Church with a record breaking attendance!
Our All-church Potluck on June 20th, was a Farewell Potluck attended by many to wish the Krafts a teary God speed.
Pastor Tyler’s (teary) last sermon with us was on June 20th titled “The Greatest!”
On Pastor Tyler and wife Crystal’s last day with us (June 20), we honored their time with us.
Church leaders prayed for them as they begin their journey to New Zealand for a new ministry!
Celebrating Graduates on June 20th!
Pastor Kraft had the privilege of baptizing Briauna on June 20th…she was tearful and overjoyed,
and we were blessed to be witnesses to it!
We had two Baby Dedications on Pastor’s last day with us for families who want to raise their babies as Christians!
We held a church Work Bee in June to get the church ready for our summer kids’ program, Summer On The Run.
We were blessed by the baptism of one of our young ladies, who has been studying the Bible with one of our female leaders.
She also provided a violin solo during the offering collection. Praise the Lord!
Our Bayside Christian School held their Promotion ceremony for kids moving up!
Our monthly Sabbath Walk in June was a neighborhood walk to distribute the Summer on the Run day camp flyers to invite our neighborhood kids to our free, one-week day camp!
